THE FIRST SLAVA OF THE ACADEMIC SERBIAN ASSOCIATION WAS CELEBRATED

Yesterday, October 27, the Academic Serbian Association celebrated the slava of the association

 

Saint Paraskeva in Nis for the first time since the founding of the association. The association was founded in 2016 on Saint Paraskeva’s day.

 

The slava ritual, cutting cake, lighting the slava candle – the holy liturgy was served by the priest Nebojsa Vujic.

The celebration was attended by teachers and members of the Academic Serbian Association.

 

This year, for the first time, the Plaque for contribution and cooperation with the Academic Serbian Association for 2020 was awarded to Dobrila Radulović from Bergen (Norway).

       

The Academic Serbian Association is the only accredited school in Serbia for teaching Serbian as a foreign and heritage language via Skype. Lessons are taught by professors who have years of experience working with children and adults from a diaspora, as well as with foreigners.

The certificates of the Academic Serbian Association are recognized worldwide and can be used for various purposes.
